Chamomile

German Chamomile,Camomile, Matricaria Chamomillia,

Native to Eurasia but found in gardens all over.

This annual grows in clumps about 24" tall, in full or partial sun. It has no special needs with a low water requirement.

The flowers are white, 1/2" in diameter, with yellow green centers. It is from the Asteracea family.
The flowers are what are used herbally.

Chamomile can be bought anywhere that sells herbs, though we have found it growing in our backyard.
Chamomile is usually preserved through drying.
