Mustard Family


Seed pods are in a radial pattern around the stalk, a raceme (spiral "staircase"), and split open to expose a clear membrane in the middle. 4 petals, 4 sepals, 4 tall stamens, 2 short stamens. Brassicaceae (cruciferae).
